We offer treatment during our surgery hours, and to all our patients we offer an emergency out of hour’s service. We hope that your dental experience with us will be both positive and rewarding.

The Team

DR. IAN ODENDAAL qualified as a dentist in 1996 from the University of Pretoria in South Africa after which he spent 6 years practicing general dentistry in the Defence Force.

Wanting a better life for his wife Sunet and children he moved to England in 2002 and they settled in Portsmouth. Ian worked as an associate in an NHS practice where he helped many patients overcome their fear of dentistry.

In 2007 he felt that the time had come to branch out on his own and set up a practice on the south coast in Gosport. He is currently undertaking a 3 year Master’s Degree in Implantology at the University of Warwick and hopes to graduate in August. His philosophy will always remain that patient care and comfort comes first and foremost and will continue to further his professional development.

Ian is a member of the British Dental Association, British society of Oral Implantology, The international Association of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology and The British Institute of Radiology.

TINA has been in dentistry for 17 years, always improving her qualifications and her knowledge of dental subjects, including recently attending an advanced Implantology course. Having worked both in the NHS and private sectors she first nursed with Ian in 2002.

Together with Ian’s wife she set up the new practice and now manages the business for them.

SUNET is taking a well earned rest as she is expecting her 3rd child.

 

SUE officially qualified as a dental nurse in 2007 although she has been nursing most of her career, whilst taking time out to have a family she also gained a child care and education qualification. This has helped her immensely with are young patients to understand their needs and putting them at ease.
